"Good Program, Even If Scheduling Keeps You Guessing"
My son’s been going here for a few months now, and I’ll admit, I’ve definitely noticed him becoming more patient and better at listening. The coaches do a nice job talking about respect and honesty in a way that actually makes sense to kids, which is refreshing. Scheduling can be a little all over the place sometimes, because apparently consistency is too much to ask for, but overall it’s been a good experience and he’s getting a lot out of it.
"Fair warning to other parents: if..."
Fair warning to other parents: if you sign your kid up with First Tee, don’t be surprised if they suddenly want to practice all the time. I put my son in it not expecting anything dramatic, but his swing has improved a ton. His grip, stance, and short game all look so much more steady now.
The coaches have been really patient and explain things in a way that actually clicks for him. Before this, getting him to practice was a struggle, and now he’s the one asking to go hit balls. I’m really happy we tried it and would definitely recommend it to other parents

"Really Glad I Jumped In"
I’ve volunteered with First Tee a few times now, my gut reaction after the first one was, “Okay, I’d definitely do this again.” The kids are a lot of fun, and most of the coaches do a good job making you feel included right away. Signing up was easy enough, but I did have a couple moments where I was kind of standing around like, “Wait, where am I supposed to go?” or “Who do I check in with?” A little clearer communication before events would help a lot. But overall, it’s a good experience and it feels worth it. I’d volunteer again for sure, just with a few small things hopefully running a bit smoother next time.

"Great experience with First Tee"
We had a really good experience with First Tee. The staff were friendly, showed up on time, and were great with the kids without being overly strict. Everything felt easy and well organized from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend them and would use them again

"First Tee has been good, I…"
First Tee has been good, I think, with keeping parents in the loop. The emails are clear enough, and the coaches usually answer quick when I have a question. There was one schedule change that came kind of late, which was not ideal, but overall the experience has been good for us.

"Umm, I was surprised by how…"
Umm, I was surprised by how much my son took from the life skills lessons. He didn’t just sit through them and forget everything, he actually remembered the ideas and started using them in real life. It’s been really nice to see.

"Easy donation with one tiny hiccup 😊"
I donated through Firsttee it was smooth overall. The page loaded without any issues, and I got my email receipt right away, which was nice. I’m giving it 4 stars because the form was a little awkward on my phone, and I had to check one box twice before it stuck. Nothing major though 🙂 Happy to support the work they’re doing!
"Great way for kids to get into golf"
My son has really enjoyed the First Tee events so far. The small tournaments are well run, but they still feel relaxed and fun instead of overly competitive. He’s gotten to meet other kids, which has made the whole golf experience feel a lot less intimidating for both of us. Overall, I think it’s a great program and I’d definitely recommend it for kids who are just getting started with golf

"Great value for kids getting into golf"
First Tee has been such a good deal for our family. My kid gets lessons, time to practice, and the coaches give really solid guidance, and somehow it doesn’t feel like we’re paying a ridiculous amount. I was looking at other golf programs nearby and wow, some of them get expensive fast. This has just felt more down-to-earth, and my kid is actually enjoying it too, which is kind of the whole point

"I liked that First Tee seems really…"
I liked that First Tee seems really welcoming to kids from all kinds of backgrounds. That part stood out to me in a good way. The website was easy to use, and I was able to find info about local programs without too much digging, so no complaints there. I also like that they’re not just focused on golf, but on life skills too. Some pages were kind of vague at first, though, so I’m blaming whoever organized that part a little bit. Overall, it still feels like a helpful and inclusive program.

"Super Easy Registration"
As a parent, I really appreciated how simple the registration process was. I got my kid enrolled without any trouble, and the confirmation emails showed up right away. The schedule was easy enough to understand, too. the whole thing took me about 10 minutes, which was a nice surprise

"Pretty good school partner program"
Our school worked with them and it went well overall. The kids seemed to like it, which is always the main thing, I guess. Communication was mostly easy too, maybe a few little moments here and there, but nothing major. Just a solid experience, really.

"Fun little family routine we didn’t expect"
My son started First Tee this spring, and somehow it turned into a whole family thing most weeks. The coaches were really kind and kept everything fun without making it feel too intense or serious, which I appreciated. it was just nice having a reason to be outside together instead of everyone ending up on a different screen. Also, random side note, I never realized how peaceful a golf course can be until you’re just standing there with a coffee watching kids try to line up a putt. Really glad we found it
"Nice way for kids to make friends"
My daughter started First Tee this spring, and she’s been really into it. She was nervous at the beginning, but she ended up making a couple of friends in her group, which was nice to see. The coaches keep things laid-back, so the kids actually chat and help each other instead of just standing around. It can be a little messy with scheduling here and there, but overall it’s been a good experience for her socially too

"Great lessons, just a small thing"
My son really enjoyed the coaches, and the lessons were easy for him to follow. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect at first, but they did a nice job teaching not just golf, but also respect and patience. The only thing is, I do wish the updates came a little sooner sometimes. Overall though, it’s been a really positive experience.

"I’ve been to a few local chapters..."
I’ve been to a few local chapters now, and they all have that same welcoming vibe, which I really appreciate. The experience is consistent no matter where I go. My only frustration is the waiting around sometimes, it can get annoying when you’re ready to get started and things take longer than expected.

My gut told me this program was different, and that turned out to be right. The alumni network and scholarship support really helped me stay motivated even after the program ended...

"More Than Just Golf"
I really think First Tee is such a good thing for kids around here. It’s not just about learning golf, it’s about building confidence, respect, and just learning how to carry yourself. I’m glad we have something like this in the community, and I feel like other parents probably see the difference too, right?

"Clean Spot, Good Gear"
I was kind of in a rush, but I still noticed the facility was really clean and everything looked well taken care of. The clubs and balls were in great shape too, which made the whole visit easy and hassle-free.
